THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE.

We’re making a STOP-MOTION ANIMATED SHORT.

And we’ve already got a puppet – Sunny has officially broken through into our world!

Isn’t she just perfect?? We worked with the brilliant Fon Davis (Star Wars, Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline) and his incredible team at Fonco Studios to wrench Sunny into the third dimension, and obviously couldn’t be happier with how she turned out. Just look at that ridiculous smile! Oh my GOD.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see her at Midsummer Scream last weekend! It was kind of a last-minute thing – we didn’t think she’d be ready in time for the show, but that’s Sunny for you: Bursting directly through the ceiling when you least expect her.

SO! What are our plans for our fancy new stop-motion Sunny? Next year we’re going to make a three-minute short, hopefully the first of many, and you’re going to help us get the ball rolling. (If you want. No pressure. Cool people will want, though.) Keep your eyes peeled for a crowdfunding campaign in the near future (mmm, peeled eyes), unless you’re a crazed millionaire who wants to cut to the chase right now.
